Happy Sunday!
I am feeling very positive this morning. I think starting this blog and an Instagram page (IG: healthyhypocp) has really gotten me motivated. For whatever reason, posting my health stuff makes me accountable for what I'm eating. Whatever works!..ammiright?
I started my morning off with a delicious, wholesome meal.
Egg, sautéed spinach, gluten free apple cinnamon oatmeal, green tea.
I also remembered to take my AM vitamins (Lifetime Fitness brand) and Omega 3 supplement. It's my understanding that those with hypothyroidism are typically lacking certain vitamins due to the under-active thyroid not producing as much.
OH! And I DID go get my Levothyroxine medication yesterday and took it this morning!!!!! YAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSS. Even though it'll probably take another month for it to kick in, I'm so relieved to have it back.
Man...why do I get so sleepy after meals? I want to go take a dang nap...and I JUST woke up! I need to do some research on anything I can do that will help me stay awake that isn't super caffeinated. I'm trying to ween myself off of the large amounts of coffee I'd been consuming to stay awake throughout the day; turns out tons of caffeine throws off your thyroid even more. Bleh. May just take time for my body to adjust to everything....

For lunch I had my leftover tuna salad, crackers, and apple from yesterday. I'm pretty hungry today, so I'm eating a small snack now - Belfonte non-fat yogurt (Boston Cream Pie flavor).
I wanted to go for a walk, but it's raining outside. :(
